New site

Our 3rd day out we went to a new site. It is a clinic/hospital setting that the city built but has not been put to use yet. It was a wonderful building, everything new and clean. We all had our separate rooms for working and a nice big area for the mechanics to work. There was a grass area where the clients could wait and sit in the warm sun. It was cooler up there and for some....cold!!! The altitude was SUPER high....I think 11,000 plus some. We all had headaches and were not feeling too well. They brought us some warm coca tea to drink. Lydia was so happy!!!! She drank it up and felt nice and warm before seeing patients. An hour passed and Roxy came in and told us not to drink the tea because it was being served from a bucket. Lydia was eyes wide open and a bit troubled for what was to come that evening.... We saw some children who desperately needed wheelchairs due to CP, Hydrocephalus, MS, Juvenile Arthritis, and more. The parents were so very happy that their children would be able to get around and play with other children now that they have a way to get around more independently.
